c.1940 Marx, B. O. Plenty in Original Box
Classic mechanical tin litho toy based on the character from the Dick Tracy comic strip. Toy is in spectacular near mint to mint condition and is complete with its original (high grade) box. Beautiful multicolored and embossed tin litho "walks" back and forth, side to side, as the hat tips up and down. B.O. holds his daughter Sparkle Plenty in one hand and a gift for her in the other. Most of the face and body section was high relief embossed to the point where it appears with realistic, three dimensional depth. Simple box has text on every panel and no illustration. Size: 8½".
